OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM
Mark Grasso is a full-time Evangelistic Worker with the Presbyterian Evangelistic Fellowship, and is the Coordinating Elder for our group. His prayer is that God would work through our efforts to bring biblical revival to the Greater Philadelphia Area.
Rev. George Petrella is a full-time Evangelist with the Presbyterian Evangelistic Fellowship, and is our resident Preaching Elder and Evangelist. He is called to preach the Gospel to all peoples, wherever the Lord should send him.
Rev. Larry Morrison - contributing pastor
Rev. Greg Pilato - contributing pastor. Since receiving a Master of Divinity degree from Covenant Theological Seminary in 1993, he has served in a pastoral capacity in churches in St. Louis, Virginia, Atlanta, Connecticut, and New Jersey. Greg pursues opportunities for preaching, teaching, pastoring, prayer, cross-cultural ministry, evangelism and street preaching.
The focus of this church is on prayer, evangelism, discipleship, and biblical worship through the enablement of God's Spirit, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the comforting providence of our Father God.
August 11, 2012, we began with prayer and evangelism, targeting South Philadelphia, Southwest Philly, and Yeadon. We added worship at the end of 2014 in Yeadon.
The distictives of the worship service at Christ Church Yeadon: it's saturated with Scripture--a Puritan habit that we specifically copied, challenging preaching, and significant prayer after the message. We treasure the heritage of our Reformed and Presbyterian forefathers, and teach and preach from that perspective. Our doctrinal standards are the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Westminster Larger and Shorter Catechisms-- produced at the height of the Reformation.
Our hope is that there would be a revival by the work of the Holy Spirit in our community. Join us in asking God for His presence and power, and an outpouring of His Spirit; resulting in urgent, persistent prayer, bold Gospel proclamation, and Biblical life-changing preaching and teaching.
We seek humble, Biblically regulated worship through prayer, singing Psalms, Hymns, and spiritual songs, making the reading and preaching of God's Word central. We want to grow in enjoying fellowship with God, and living an abundant holy life, inviting our neighbors to join us in folowing Jesus Christ.
