OUR MINISTRIES

Our ministry activity is organized around the simple ministry emphases of the Church made clear in the Word.

Prayer                            Contact: Rod Snyder

Jesus exhorts us in Matthew 7:7 by saying: Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

We are wholly dependent upon God, and prayer is unalterably foundational to the rest of our activity as followers of Christ.

Evangelism                    Contact: Mark Grasso

Jesus is both our Savior and our Lord. As Lord, He has commissioned us to Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations (Matthew 28:19a). As individual members of the Priesthood of all believers (1 Peter 2:5), each of us is called to share the Truth of the Gospel with our neighbors. There is no better way to love them, after all!

Proclamation of the Word

Paul asks in Romans 10:14, How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? God has given us the honorable task of preaching His Word as the means by which men and women are drawn unto Him.

Bible Study                      Contact: George Petrella

Paul tells us in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. God has disclosed Himself to us by His Word, and we are called to study it diligently, that we may be found prepared for every good work.

Fellowship & Music       Contact: Karen Grasso

Paul tells us in Ephesians 5 to be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord. While we have no stylistic commitments to particular musical genres, we seek to promote the peace and purity of the church through humble, God-honoring arrangements when we gather together for fellowship and worship.

Sacraments

We recognize that it is for our good that Christ clearly instructed us to observe the sacraments of baptism and communion. We practice the sacrament of baptism for both new believers and children born to believing parents. We regularly serve holy communion to those who sincerely profess belief in Christ Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.
